The Internal Auditing Department of the Northeast Normal University was established in 1985. In the last 30 years, It has built up and developed a lot. It owns 7 full-time auditors, and includes the financial audit section, comprehensive audit section and engineering audit section. Nowadays, the audit supervision system which covers the whole school economic activities has already formed, it takes the finance receipt and expenditure audit as foundation, the economic responsibility audit, the capital construction and repair engineering audit and review the label with economic contract as point.
In recent years, we do our duties of the inner part audit work completely, and obtained the obvious work result. From 2000 to 2004, we completed varieties of audit items, adding up to 1966 items. Audit funds totaled up to 6.24 billion Yuan and we realized direct economic benefit of 83.47 million Yuan. Nowadays, audit work has a positive effect on perfecting the school management, making the norm of the economic activities order, raising the benefit of running the school, and managing the school by law.
In 2004, the Internal Auditing Department of the Northeast Normal University was judged as the 2001-2004 advanced unit by the Auditing Office of Jilin Province. In May, 2002, it was judged as the national advanced team of education audit by the Chinese Ministry of Education. In April, 2005, it was judged as the national advanced unit by the Chinese Auditing Administration.
